You will be met at your hotel and depart on bicycles or in a van, depending on the distance to the farm and your personal preference. Enjoy the fresh air of the countryside as we make our way to our destination. After arriving at the farm, meet the farmers and enjoy tea near the paddy field. Don traditional Vietnamese farmer clothing to prepare for getting into the field. Your tour guide will explain the details of wet rice cultivation and answer any questions that you might have. Watch as the farmer demonstrates ploughing the paddy traditionally with a water buffalo. The farmer will guide you in how to transplant rice seedlings which will eventually mature and be harvested. If you wish, go for a short ride on a water buffalo and experience these gentle animals up close. Finally, enjoy a meal with the farmer's family before returning to your hotel.
