VN45A Hue Biking Tour (HD)

Start cycling from your hotel to area formerly known as the “New City” in late 19th century before crossing the famous Truong Tien Bridge built by Gustave Eiffel to the “Old City”. This excursion is mainly on the northern bank of the Perfume River with visits including: a pottery collector, Ho Chi Minh‘s childhood house and the vegetable gardens on the citadel wall. While you are inside the citadel, taste “Me Xung”, a famous sweet from Hue, as well as some refreshments by the lake. There is an optional visit to Hope House, a vocational training centre for disabled and underprivileged children in Hue. Here, washed recyclable materials are used to make traditional Vietnamese souvenirs which will then be sold to visitors from all around the world. All of the money raised from such sales is used to finance the activities of the disabled and partially fund heart surgery for Vietnamese children. Proceed to Phu Mong Garden House Villages to admire the beauty of Hue's architecture before crossing the Perfume River back to your hotel.

(Total riding distance: approximately 22km).
