VC22 Beng Mealea Temple (HD)

Pick up from hotel and drive to discover Beng Mealea, a unique 11th century temple which almost rivals Angkor Wat in terms of size. The main temple sits on an area of 108 hectares and is surrounded by a 45 metre-wide moat. Although it dates from the same period as Angkor Temples, the artwork and friezes are different in style. Much of the temple is enveloped by the jungle, thus adding to the sense of mystic discovery.
